This design is like a modern reinterpretation of the Submariner 5513 Explorer dial from the 1960s. So although there are lots of familiar design cues, overall, I have seen nothing else quite like it.
Steinhart really hasn't set a foot wrong here. The applied indices and numerals look pleasingly 3D in a range of lights and from various angles. Even the dial text is the right size and font. The polished centre links may be a matter of taste, and I usually prefer all-brushed bracelets, but with this design, there is no denying that they work well.
A definite keeper in my collection.
