Shocked at how much I like this watch!I've been a big fan of Steinhart over the years. I've mostly worn 42mm divers and also a couple of 44mm pilot watches back in the day. When the 39mm divers were being introduced, I hesitated, thinking that they would be too small for my wrist.
But I have also eyed the Ocean Adventure 39 for a long time, and finally decided to give it a go. Wow! I could not be more happy with it! It sits so comfortably on my wrist, and it looks amazing!
I would wear the 42mm divers on a NATO or leather strap, not even trying on the bracelet. As soon as the watch arrived, I would remove the bracelet (some are still wrapped). I just found the straps to be more comfortable. But this watch feels very comfortable on the bracelet! I suppose that 2mm makes the right amount of difference that I don't find the bracelet to be too much for my wrist.
The bracelet was also very easy to size. I used the smallest flat screwdriver bit of my Wiha microbit screwdriver, and it worked perfectly (I removed two links from either side, one link at a time).

Non è un clone ma un homage!!!Premetto che ho comprato un usato da occasione, volevo provare e vedere questo adventure al polso per capire se un homage faceva per me, e per metà del prezzo di vendita rispetto al nuovo ho avuto questa possibilità!! L’orologio è di buona qualità, belle finiture e ottimi materiali si vedono subito, il movimento è quello che è.. un sw200, cosa volete dirgli?? Ma la cosa che più mi ha stupito è che non è uno dei soliti cloni chiamati homage, è proprio un homage, la cassa per lo meno non copia al 100% l’originale, come anche il vetro in zaffiro che è bombato, qui stainhart prende la lode per il lavoro fatto che non è il classico copia incolla!! L’unica cosa che mi rende perplesso è che hanno altri modelli come il titanium 500 che hanno un quadrante e lancette molto belli, perché non rendersi più riconoscibili e spingere su questi tratti che possono essere più caratteristici per l’azienda?? Io ricomprerei l’adventure100% ed è cosa che farò a breve dato che ormai quello che ho è un po’ segnato dalle avventure passate assieme, però mi piacerebbe anche un ocean 39 ghiera nera con quadrante e lancette del 500 magari giocando con la lancetta dei secondi in base ai colori della ghiera!! Spero in questo futuro molto vicino!!

Aber das, was mich am meisten überrascht hat, ist, dass es sich nicht um einen der üblichen Klone handelt, die als Hommage bezeichnet werden, es ist wirklich eine Hommage, das Gehäuse kopiert zumindest nicht zu 100% das Original, ebenso wie das Saphirglas, das gewölbt ist, hier erntet Stainhart Lob für die geleistete Arbeit, die nicht das klassische Copy Paste ist!!! Das einzige, was mich verwundert, ist, dass sie andere Modelle wie die Titan 500 haben, die ein sehr schönes Zifferblatt und Zeiger haben, warum machen sie sich nicht erkennbarer und pushen diese Merkmale, die vielleicht unverwechselbarer für die Firma sind? Ich würde die adventure100% wieder kaufen, und das werde ich auch bald tun, denn die, die ich habe, ist jetzt ein bisschen vernarbt von den vergangenen gemeinsamen Abenteuern, aber ich hätte auch gerne eine Ocean 39 mit schwarzer Lünette und dem 500er Zifferblatt und den Zeigern, vielleicht mit einem Sekundenzeiger, der zu den Farben der Lünette passt!!! A wonderful piece!I have had over 20 Rolex watches and could afford another. But I loved my little 36mm Explorer. This is not it. But at 63 I like the 39mm better and yes I know this is a direct copy for the most part so what? The biggest clone builder in the world is Rolex is Tudor but is that really not obvious. And yes I normally get Steinhart's of older discontinued models or their own designs but this is just too good to pass up. Ill save the many thousands I would spend on a Rolex and still answer the question those people are asked "is it real" - can you imagine spending all of that money and hearing that all the time. I do with all of mine. Its just a timepiece - life is much more important than trinkets so just like it or not. For me its perfect. And I can honestly say "Nope its a Steinhart" as they give me a pussled look as I walk away.

Not a bot reviewActually good watch for anyone looking to buy. Probably the best option at this price range, if you don't mind the lack of "name value". I've dropped it from waist height, had it wet, next to laptops and phones all day, and accuracy is still within +4/+8 secs a day. Aesthetically top notch, too.

Older guy with perfect simplemlookAs I got older I felt wearing a diver seemed like a reach into my past. Owner of an Oyster Perpetual,since 1966 I longed for a simple three handed watch that was modern and affordable. This is perfect and has been on my wrist for part of every day for over one year. I want for nothing else. Fulfilled at last.
